Machine-dug trial pits are used to assess ground conditions quickly and efficiently. Using a mechanical excavator, we dig to specified depths to expose soil layers, foundations, or buried structures.

This method is ideal for gathering bulk soil samples, logging strata, and identifying groundwater or obstructions. All pits are excavated safely and to required dimensions, with support and backfilling as needed.

Site observations are documented, samples can be sent for lab testing, and a full record is provided for inclusion in your geotechnical report.
